Kalispell police

| April 15, 2006 1:00 AM

Kalispell police tracked down a stolen vehicle very early Saturday. A woman had started the truck in front of her home, but a man drove it away when she wasn't looking. He was seen driving it, police followed, and eventually recovered it at the Church of the Nazarene.

At 2:43 a.m., employees at a restaurant called for help removing a man who kept trying to pick fights. At the same restaurant 15 minutes later, officers had to arrest three males after the manager asked for help dispersing six people who were waiting in the parking lot for another man to come outside. He was staying put until they left.

It was less than $1,000 damage, police reported, after a driver hit the Ronald McDonald Donation Box in the restaurant's drive-through.

Police counseled a mother after her three young daughters were reported walking and riding bike into parking lot traffic.

It was a noisy night Friday. About midnight, three or four adolescents were running around yelling in a courtyard on Airport Road. An hour later, it was an ex-husband pounding on a woman's door who woke the apartment house neighbor on Appleway.

Woodland Park was the site of a possible transient camp, where police charged a man with on open container violation.
