Whitefish police

| April 15, 2006 1:00 AM

Whitefish police didn't get a chance to collect their own evidence after the motel clerk called to say they had found blood everywhere in a room after the guest checked out. The clerk had taken plenty of pictures before calling police, but housekeepers had cleaned up before police could get there.

Another motel clerk reported a woman tried to use a stolen credit card. Her ploy didn't work.

It was the girlfriend's dad's car. The boyfriend used it, but kept it too long. So the 22-year-old man from Bozeman got arrested for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Some time back, a driver had a bit much to drink and ran into a telephone pole. Saturday, the 16-year-old boy was charged with DUI and leaving the scene of a property accident.

A bicycle was reported stolen from East Edgewood.
