Bozeman bounces Kalispell from state

GREAT FALLS - The Kalispell Lakers closed out the American Legion baseball season Sunday losing 4-2 to the Bozeman Bucks at the Montana/Alberta Class AA state tournament.
The Lakers (32-29) went 0-2 in tournament play while Bozeman (45-6) stays alive in loser-out action.
Kalispell scored in the first inning when Stefan Malkuch led off with a single, advanced to second on a passed ball and moved to third when Dan Conners grounded out. Geoff Hogan then flied out to center field to score Malkuch.
The Lakers added another run in the seventh when Adam Olson singled to right field, advanced to second on a ground out and scored on an infielding error.
