Teacher day
The Staples store is holding a Teacher Appreciation Day today to make sure Flathead Valley teachers have everything they need for school.
From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the store invites teachers to preview products. The first 200 teachers can pick up a free gift bag containing an academic planner, supplies and coupons.
There also will be information on Recycle for Education (www.staplesrecyclefored.com), a program that the store says has raised $2 million for schools nationwide.
The store also continues teaming up with customers this year through its Supplies for School Kids program. It helps provide local Boys and Girls Clubs members with school supplies. Customers can donate $1.95 for a package of school supplies that will go to children in their own community.
The Kalispell Staples store is located at 1290 U.S. 2 E.
