Dorothy 'Dot' Mae Wertz, 77

Dorothy "Dot" Mae Wertz, 77, "went to her eternal home" Sunday, Aug. 20, 2006, at Heritage Place in Kalispell.

She was born Nov. 1, 1928, in Tomahawk, Wis., to George and Edna (Righter) LaVigne.

Dorothy was a very beautiful person within and out. She was loved by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Michael; a sister, Mary Ellen DeLange; three brothers and their spouses, John and Lois, Robert and Doris, and Donald and Marjean; and one brother-in-law, Andrew K. Holen.

Dorothy is survived by three sons, Kenneth and wife, Myoring, of Korea; Robert of Portland; and Clement and wife, Joanne, of Apple Valley, Calif.; as well as one grandson. She is also survived by three sisters, Genevive Holen, and Betty and husband, Frederick Huggins, all of Auburn, Wash., and Sister Mary Dorothy LaVigne of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; one brother-in-law, Lester "Bun" DeLange of Rexford; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services and graveside urn burial for Dorothy will be held sometime in July 2007.
