Kaare D. Gulbranson, 40

Kaare D. Gulbranson, 40, passed away Sunday morning, Aug. 20, 2006, at his home in Hungry Horse.

He was born June 21, 1966, in Browning to Thelma and Wilbur Gulbranson. He graduated from Columbia Falls High School in 1984.

He loved the outdoors, football, music, animals, NASCAR, boating, kids, and mostly barbecuing and being with friends and family. He was the caretaker of his disabled mother.

Kaare had some ups and downs in life but managed to get through them. He was always there to help others. He had a heart of gold. Kaare will be missed by many.

He is survived by his fiance, Stella, and her two children, Ali and Jim, of the Philippines; his father, Wilbur Gulbranson, of Columbia Falls; his mother, Thelma Gulbranson, of Columbia Falls; sisters, Linda Street and her husband, Dale, of Kennewick, Wash., Karen Knowles of Hungry Horse, and Corinne Lewis and her husband, Dave, of Hungry Horse; his brothers, Russ Gulbranson and his wife, Mona, of Hungry Horse, and Charlie Gulbranson of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; nieces, Sherry Batsell, Jenny Street, Heidi Gulbranson, and Rachael Gulbranson; and nephew, Jeremy Erickson; and numerous other relatives and friends;

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, at the Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls. Burial will be afterward in Woodlawn Cemetery.
