Lucille attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School and Marycliff High School in Spokane. After graduating she attended Comptometer School to go on to work for Sears Roebuck Co. and then Graybar Electric Co.

She met and married John J. Annala after only knowing each other for a month on Dec. 9, 1944. She always said "it was love at first sight." Lucille and John lived in many places throughout the United States before finally calling Geyser home.

In the later years, they wintered in Arizona with family and friends until John's passing in 1995. Then Lucille moved to Great Falls and again moved to Kalispell to be closer to her daughter.

At Lucille's request a graveside service for family and friends will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5, at Fort Harrison Veterans Cemetery, followed by a memorial reception at Jorgenson's in Helena.

If friends desire, in lieu of flowers, please make a memorial contribution to the Gift of Life Foundation or a charity of your choice.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Buffalo Hills Funeral Home and Crematory.
