Mary Amos, 86

Mary Amos, 86, passed away Nov. 28, 2006, at Lake View Care Center in Bigfork. She was born Jan. 29, 1920, in Cornucopia, Ore.

Mary had many friends in the Flathead Valley, and for the past few years she resided at Lake View Nursing Facility in Bigfork. Her family wishes to thank the staff of Lake View for marvelous care and love shown their mother, grandmother and great-grandmother during her stay there.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Kay Lafley, of Las Cruces, N.M.; sons, Harold L. Elston of Arkansas, and Charles A. Elston of California; grandchildren, Terri Finch of Kalispell, Alan Elston of Kalispell, Shawn Lafley of Kalispell, and Robert Lafley of Missoula; great-grandchildren, Mandy Elston of Kalispell, Timothy Elston of Kalispell, Tom Elston of Portland, Ian Lafley of Eureka, Cindy Nelson and family of Missoula, Geri of Wyoming, and Grant Matthew of Missoula.

Mary requested that she be cremated, and no public services be held. Her ashes will be spread over her birthplace.
