Kalispell police were busy with traffic trouble and oddities. A traffic light on U.S. 93 and Commons Way was no match for a truck carrying a silo Monday. Another driver overestimated the height of the underpass on East Idaho Street or underestimated the height of his vehicle. The result caused some damage.

A woman was arrested for obstructing an officer after someone reported that she drove into a garage door on Greatview Drive. Several other reports were received about bad driving.

A teenage girl reportedly broke into her mother's house and stole things on Hawthorn Avenue. A 13-year-old girl who was reported out of control at Lambert Court decided to spend the night with a friend. A fight between ex-spouses was reported on 14th Street East. Putting the bother back in brother, a man went to a motel after his sister asked to have him removed from her home on Garden Way.

On Eighth Avenue West, a woman said she was accosted by a Native American woman in a big red van. The woman demanded the victim's coat and threatened to punch her if she didn't get it. The victim described her coat as an Army jacket with a fur-lined hood.

A vehicle at Gateway West Mall was relieved of a shirt and a sack of frozen food.

A teenager was arrested for possession of drugs, paraphernalia and tobacco at the high school.
