Joseph John Dasenbrock, 71

Joseph John Dasenbrock, 71, of Kalispell passed away Monday, Dec. 18, 2006, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center of natural causes. He was born Aug. 15, 1935, in Greencreek, Idaho. Joe attended school in Greencreek and graduated high school in Clarkston, Wash., in 1953.

He worked as a rancher, heavy equipment mechanic, meat cutter, owned a chain saw sales and service, and trained horses. He retired in 1986 due to a physical injury.

He was a caring and intelligent person, always ready to lend a hand or an ear, and was willing and able to do whatever needed done.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Rose; brothers, Virgil, Charles, Ralph, Louis and John; and sisters, Marie Willenborg and Edna Behler; also stepson, Pete; and grandson, Kody.

He is survived by brothers, Henry and wife Charlotte, and Edward and wife Betty Jean; sisters, Theresa Hasenoehrl, Margaret Toennis and husband Richard, and Regina Eberhardt and husband Boyd; son, Rodney and wife, Cheri; daughter, Rhonda, and husband Ken Eaton; and son, Robin; also stepchildren Karin and husband Allen Sagen, Joy and husband Tim, Julie and Neil; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Family visitation and service were done privately at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home and Crematory.

At the request of the deceased, the memorial service will be set at a later date in the spring. Ashes will be scattered at that time.
