It's snow fun when the cops show

Snow drew out the frisky side of some residents Tuesday night, requiring Kalispell police to stop the fun. A resident on Sherry Lane complained that someone launched a snowball at the house. To loud sledders at Dry Bridge Gulch at 10:30 p.m.: Leave. To the ninja snowball fighters on Rising Sun Circle at 11:30: Keep it down. To the snowball-fight sequel on Main Street after midnight: Go home.

Four youths were arrested at 1 a.m. on curfew violations.

People in a blue Ford Ranger dumped a pile of furniture at the high school and sped off.

A woman on Fifth Avenue West North complained that her boyfriend was "giving her a hard time and won't get out of her face."

A man who called the hospital emergency room for medication made threats when he was denied.

There were several suspicions reported of underage drinking parties and other gatherings.

An officer counseled a woman who reported that her ex-husband calls her at all hours of the night on Belmar.
