At a little before 6 a.m. Wednesday, someone reported horses loose on U.S. 2
near Brunner Road. Minutes later came the call that a Frito Lay truck had hit the horses. One lay dead on the road north of the airport; another was dead beneath the truck. The driver was taken to North Valley Hospital, and the horses' corpses were hauled away later.
A Flathead County sheriff's deputy deemed it a discipline problem when a 15-year-old boy, who was angry because his mother wouldn't give him back an Xbox, sat in his bedroom with a pocket knife taped to the end of a stick.

On Airport Road, deputies were expected to mediate a roommates' dispute. The first call was that one resident took a dish set belonging to the other and wouldn't return it. The next call was about their disagreement over parking. Officers may be hoping there isn't another call.
Coram Fire Department and highway patrol went to an accident near West Glacier, where a man ran from the scene after turning a vehicle on its side. A witness smelled alcohol; highway patrol will investigate.

Near Columbia Falls was a report that a woman stole and forged a vehicle title to get a loan.
