Mary B. Kennedy, 94, former resident of Purcell, Okla., Colorado Springs, Colo., and Wexford Place in Kansas City, Mo., passed away Sunday, Jan. 29, 2006, at Liberty Terrace Care Center in Liberty, Mo.

Memorial services were held at the Platte Woods United Methodist Church in Kansas City. Mary was placed to rest next to her beloved husband in Purcell.

She was a member of Platte Woods United Methodist Church in Kansas City, a member of P.E.O., and was an avid bridge player.

She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Kennedy.

She is survived by daughter, Nancy Kennedy Smith, Gladstone, Mo; son, John Edward Kennedy Jr., and wife, Charlotte, Bigfork; sister, Jean Beatty, Tulsa, Okla.; grandchildren, Dr. Norman A. Smith Jr., and wife, Ilse, Kansas City, Julie K. Lowery and husband, Kevin, St. Charles, Mo., Mandy J. Gauldin and husband, Scott, Glenwood Springs, Colo., Lisa A. Rashoodi and husband, Fahad, Kalispell, Mary "Shelly" Baier and husband, Tim, Kalispell, and John E. "Tre" Kennedy III, and wife, LeAnn, Beaverton, Ore.; and 16 great-grandchildren, including Sarah, Norah, Nouffie, and Rayan Rashoodi of Kalispell, Valarie, Kelsie, Dillon, and Rueger Baier, of Kalispell, John E. Kennedy IV, and Christopher James Kennedy of Beaverton.
