Horelick scores 22 points in Libby victory

LIBBY - David Horelick scored 22 points to help Libby edge Bigfork 59-56 Thursday in Northwestern A boys basketball action.

Horelick was one of three Loggers to break double digits in scoring.

Caleb Swartzendruber tallied 11 and Jim Mee 10.

Horelick had a big night at the free throw line, sinking 12 of 18 shots.

Free throws played a big part in the contest as Bigfork was 14 of 29 and Libby 22 of 34.

Bigfork jumped out to a 16-9 first-quarter lead and led 27-22 at the break.

Libby finally pulled ahead in the third quarter, outscoring the visitors 21-13.

Nathan Roessmann scored 14 for Bigfork and Joe Wolstein added 11.

Libby (4-5 and 10-7) hosts Polson tonight while Bigfork (5-4 and 7-10) entertains Columbia Falls on Saturday.
