can add two more things to the list of furniture and other items that drivers don't like to encounter on the road. One was a pile of scaffolding that blocked both lanes of traffic Tuesday on Center Street and the other was a pile of gravel that had to be scooped off Hodgson Road.

Harassing calls were reported in Marion and on Maple Drive. Stalking was reported in the county. Threats were reported on Parliament Drive. A man was charged with partner assault on Lakeside Boulevard and another domestic problem was resolved when a couple separated for the night.

There is a suspect in a theft of jewelry from River Road. Tools were stolen from a construction site on Blacktail Road. There was a report of 5,500 gallons of road de-icer stolen from a state road shed in Marion.
