Barbara Kay Tester, 60

Barbara Kay Tester, 60, passed away Sunday, Feb. 19, 2006, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center in Kalispell.

She was born on June 29, 1945, at Wyandotte, Mich., the daughter of Francis O. and Lucille K. (Kooi) Reames. Barbara graduated from Buckley Community High School in 1964.

She married Dana L. Tester in 1967, and they lived happily in love until he "went home to be with the Lord" in 1982. Barbara then moved to the Flathead Valley in 1983 to be with friends. She held various jobs in the area.

Barbara was a committed member of Faith Alliance Church (formerly Community Alliance). She regularly helped with the Community Kitchen. She loved people and would do anything she could for them. Her hobbies were dreaming of motorcycles, cooking, and playing Scrabble and Yahtzee.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dana; two sisters, Betty and Shirley; and two brothers, Marshall Reames and Robert Reames.

She is survived by her daughter, Aimee Cooper, of Mercerville, N.J.; a sister, Carol Reames, of Cheyenne, Wyo.; and two brothers, Donald Reames of Cheyenne, and Earl "Butch" Reames of Aurora, Colo.

Memorial services for Barbara will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at Faith Alliance Church, 348 Second Ave. W., in Kalispell. There will be no visitation.
