Crusaders win Holiday Classic

The Flathead Valley Home School Crusaders took home the honors, beating the MCAA western division leaders, the Helena Christian School Rams, 70 to 62 in the championship game Friday night at the Holiday Classic Tournament, sponsored by the Missoula Home School Athletic Association.

Crusader's Shea Heffernan led all scorers with 32 and was named the tournament MVP.

The tournament included qualifying games on Thursday in which FVHS lost to Helena Christian and was ranked second going into the tournament games on Friday. FVHS beat North Idaho Christian School in their first game of the day 78 to 60 qualifying them for the championship game.
