Whitefish police

arrested a man for disorderly conduct at the Super 8 motel Wednesday night. On Thursday night, a man at the Downtowner said his wife was trying to poison him; then, he said, she drank the alleged poison. An ambulance was called.

A verbal disturbance was reported at Quick Lube. An unwanted man was reported at Emerald City Casino. Two fighting roommates separated for the night on Wisconsin Avenue.

Thefts were reported from the boys' and girls' lockerrooms at the high school.
