Wolf found dead in Glacier Park
The wolf was discovered by a park visitor who reported the discovery to park officials. The wolf was retrieved by a park ranger.
It is estimated the wolf had died about a week earlier.
The carcass was sent to a state lab to determine the cause of death.
More than half the carcass had been consumed by scavengers, making it impossible to estimate the wolf's age, weight and sex.
