A Kalispell teen who allegedly threatened a woman with a knife on Tuesday has been charged with a felony.

Michael Gigrich, 17, faces a charge of assault with a weapon for the incident.

A woman at a home off of Airport Road called Kalispell police on Tuesday. She said a boy appeared on her porch and asked for someone named Graham.

When she said no one by that name lived there, he allegedly showed her a knife and said she'd be hurt if she was lying.

The woman told police that the boy left with another teenager in a black truck.

The suspected truck was stopped by Flathead County Sheriff's officers on Foy's Lake Road. Police identified Gigrich as the assault suspect and he was arrested.

His companion has not been charged with any crime, according to Kalispell Police Chief Frank Garner.
