Whitefish police

Whitefish police recovered a vehicle in the library parking lot that had been stolen downtown a few nights ago.

Checks were stolen from a truck on Ashar Avenue.

Friends came to the rescue of a man who was stopped for being an intoxicated pedestrian. They gave him the opportunity to be an intoxicated passenger on the way to his house, instead. A taxi was called for someone in a vehicle who wasn't driving and was reportedly in no condition to be.

A resident on Columbia Avenue reported harassment by teens.
