Last Saturday series resumes at the Knead Cafe

Andre Floyd's sell-out dinner show series, "Last Saturday at the Knead" is back for 2006 with a full menu of four dates planned in the coming months.

Flathead Valley instrumentalist David Griffith, drummer Michael McDaniel from Virginia, and Ron Reeves on bass guitar will join blues/folk guitarist Floyd on Jan. 28 for the series kick-off to ring in the new year Italian-style with "A Night in Tuscany."

Sit down to a seven-course dinner prepared by head chef Rick Cannady at The Knead Cafe in Kalispell, beginning with peach sorbet, followed by an antipasti, chicken cannelloni, salmon roulade wrapped in pancetta and potato gnocci with lamb ragout.

A choice of either coffee-dipped cake with zabaglione or lemon sabayon pine nut tart will complete the dining experience.

Floyd launched his popular Last Saturday series in 2005. A renowned musician who has toured with such blues greats as Corky Seigel, Taj Mahal and The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Floyd is also the front man for the band Mood Iguana. He and longtime friend and co-band member Griffith have also toured together and collaborated recently on a new collection of original music. Their CD, "Love Never Dies," will be out in July.

Tickets are $35 each and reservations are highly recommended since seating is limited to 85. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m. For details or reservations, call The Knead at 755-7510.
