took a complaint from a man on Coverdell Road that a woman hit him in the face with her reading glasses, making his lip bleed. The couple separated for the night.

Flathead Search and Rescue was called out Monday night to find a missing snowboarder on Big Mountain. It didn't take long.

A disturbance was reported on McCaffery Road. Both sides of a reported assault in Evergreen called to complain about the incident.

Not only was her house plastered with eggs, a woman on Bear Trail reported, but a witness knows who did it and won't tell. On Parliament Drive, a woman saw a man lurking around her house when she left, and saw him close the door to her house and run when she returned. She couldn't tell whether he actually had been inside the home.

After an argument, a woman reportedly stole a cell phone in Evergreen.

A vehicle was reported stolen on Two Mile Drive. Two chain saws were stolen on Hodgson Road. Jewelry and CDs were reported stolen on Park Drive. About 30 gallons of waste oil reportedly was spilled on Jellison Lane.

It was after 11 p.m. Sunday when a deputy was called to Essex Place where people in a field acted suspiciously. They turned out to be boys, having a snowball fight.

An animal warden rescued a dog stuck under a bridge on Blacktail Road, where its leash had gotten snagged between rocks. That dog and another one that guarded it in its distress were returned to their owners.
