Kalispell police
were busy with alcohol-related problems Saturday night. A man who was asked to leave the Bulldog bar did, but threw a large rock through a window when outside. At Sawbuck's bar, a man said he was hit in the head by another man, who also took $100 from him. An officer invited the alleged victim to come and write a report when he is sober.
Four men were arrested for DUI; it was the second for one and the fourth for another. On Airport Road, two teens were charged with possession of alcohol and tobacco.
A man who allegedly made death threats was taken to the hospital for evaluation.
Carved bears were taken from two residences on Nicklaus. Benches got no respect, either. One was dragged into the road on Glenwood Drive; another was vandalized at Begg Park.
Loud music Sunday night on Second Street West reportedly prompted a neighbor to knock on the door and suggest a fight.
A man reportedly threw a dog out of his truck Monday on Cemetery Road. When he was stopped, he said he "mistook the area for the animal shelter." He was counseled on what to do with an unwanted animal.
