Eleanor Kent Reetz, 95

Eleanor Kent Reetz, 95, of Missoula, formerly of Kalispell, passed away Sunday Jan. 22, 2006, at the Riverside Health Care Center in Missoula.

She was born June 8, 1910, in New York City. At the age of 5, she came west with her family and spent her younger years near East Glacier.

She then moved to Kalispell and married Raymond Kent on Oct. 15, 1927, and he preceded her in death in 1975.

She married Harold Reetz in 1986. He preceded her in death, and she moved to Missoula in 1996.

Eleanor loved music, and her favorite hobbies included sewing, crocheting and gardening.

She is now survived by one son, Leonard, and Shirley Kent of Victor; one daughter, Delores Rapp, and Art of Missoula; two sisters, Frances Evans and Barbara Jean Busch, both of Kalispell; grandchildren, Deanne and Keith Tucker of Missoula, Gwen and Rob Simonis of Troy, Mich., Melanie and Rick Weiss of Cleveland, Pat and Margie Kent of Spokane, Mark and April Kent of Milwaukee, Wis., Mike and Laurie Kent of Helena, and Pam and Tim Depuydt of Florence; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Jan. 25, at Garden City Funeral Home and Crematory with Eleanor's nephew, the Rev. Roger Casteel of Lincoln, Neb., officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 26, at Glacier Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kalispell.

Pallbearers will be Patrick Kent, Michael Kent, Keith Tucker, and Jack Francis. Memorials have been suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.

Garden City Funeral Home and Crematory is handling the arrangements.
