Earl C. Tenley, 78
Earl C. Tenley, 78, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2006, at Brendan House in Kalispell. He was born Aug. 24, 1927, in Sardis, Ohio, the son of William and Josie Pearl (Bolen) Tenley. He attended schools in Sardis and completed the eighth grade.
He worked as an auto-body specialist for several years at Rygg Ford. He also worked for McElroy and Wilken, and Harpline Construction. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Eagles.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Virginia Tenley; a sister, Belva Jones; and a brother, Roger Tenley.
He is survived by his six children, Debbie Wigner, Earlene Greene, Randy Tenley and Joe Cook, all of Kalispell, and Karen Noe and Larry Tenley of Tennessee; six grandchildren, Hunter, Christina, Jamie, Justin, Chelsea and Jennie; and two brothers, Paul Tenley of Deersville, Ohio, and Donald Kennedy of Sumter, S.C.; and a sister, Mary Carpenter, of Sardis.
Memorial services for Earl will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at the Eagles Lodge in Kalispell.
The family suggests memorials to the donor's choice.
