Kalispell police took a call Thursday about a man on Buffalo Hill who was moved to direct traffic. An officer gave him a ride to a homeless shelter. A man who aroused concern at the mall wasn't intoxicated, just slow and elderly, according to police. They gave him a ride to a motel.

At Lawrence Park, a man was arrested on charges of providing alcohol to a minor and having an open container of alcohol.

A man was arrested for his second DUI near Conrad Complex. At the same time, a woman was arrested for DUI on East Idaho Street.

After a report that people were trying door handles and making single-digit gestures to people going by, a boy was charged with theft at about 2:30 a.m.

An out-of-control son was taken into custody on Parkway Drive.

A calculator was stolen from a car in town and jewelry was stolen on Meridian Road. Missing from the Rosebriar Inn is $100.

Four people in a black Chevy Cavalier flung packets of mustard at parked cars.

A woman said her roommates kicked her out and wouldn't let her retrieve her computer.
