The Kalispell Boat Show continues from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today, and from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday at Majestic Valley Arena. It is billed as Montana's largest indoor boat show of the year.

General admission is $3 for adults and free for children 13 years of age and younger.
Petting zoo for instruments is today
The League of the Glacier Symphony and Chorale will host an instrument petting zoo at 1 p.m. today in the meeting room of the Kalispell branch of the Flathead County Library.
Kids get a hands-on opportunity to see, touch and sometimes play a variety of instruments.

Blacktail hosts Winterfest today
Somers/Lakeside and Blacktail Mountain Ski Area celebrates Winterfest 2006 today with ski and snowboard races, ice sculpting, all-day free horse-drawn sleigh rides and sledding, games for the children and more.
Kick off the fun with a pancake breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. at Lakeside Community Chapel, then travel up the mountain. Registration is from 9 to 11 a.m. at Blacktail Lodge for the fourth annual Family Cup Ski and Board Race.
Participants also can join the Snowmobile Poker Run from Lake Mary Ronan to Muley's and back. Registration is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Lake Mary Ronan Lodge. Call 849-5483.
Play a round of snow golf from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Del's Bar in Somers.
It's Youth Night from 6 to 10 p.m. at Lakeside Community Chapel. Chili, hot dogs, and hot chocolate will be served, and movies and games will entertain. Call 844-2377.

Housing Authority hosts fund-raiser
The Whitefish Housing Authority invites you to its soup and ski fund-raiser from 4 to 9 p.m. at Mogul's on Big Mountain. The cost is $25 for your lift ticket, soup, beverage and a $5 discount on equipment rental.
