Dean Everett Stacy, 80
Dean Everett Stacy, 80, "went to be with Jesus" on Wednesday, June 28, 2006, at the Montana Veterans Home in Columbia Falls.
He was born May 20, 1926, in Onalaska, Wash., to Emma O. (Roberts) and Sylvester P. Stacy.
He served in the military during World War II and the Korean Conflict.
Dean worked at various jobs including for Champion International, Hoerner-Waldorff and for the Missoula Manor Retirement Home.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Michael D. Stacy; four sisters; and five brothers.
Dean is survived by his loving wife, Inez Stacy, of Columbia Falls; two daughters, Marilyn and Pete Mears and Carrie and Rich Flankey; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and a sister, Cle Ella Young, in Oregon.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, July 6, at the Clark Fork City Church, 2811 Latimer Street, Missoula, MT. Pastor Bruce Donlley will officiate. Inurnment will be Friday at Fort Harrison.
Arrangements are with the Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls.
