The Evergreen Fire Department and the Flathead Electric Cooperative dealt with a tree

that fell, knocked out a power line and blocked traffic early Saturday evening on the 700 block of Addison Square.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to a boat being hit by lightning on Whitefish Lake, which had to be towed to shore early Saturday evening. No one was hurt.

The Somers Fire Department put out a small brush fire on U.S. 93 next to the White Oak Mini-Mart.
