Kalispell police

Concerned that a fellow driver might need anger management counseling, a man called Kalispell police from a supermarket parking lot. He'd honked his horn when a man had pulled into a space right in front of him. The driver got out of the vehicle and yelled at him; the man who called police believed the driver was "overly outraged." He couldn't smell any alcohol on the hollering man but worried something was wrong with him.

At another grocery store, a man who had been kicked out last week returned to buy beer. He was gone before police arrived.

A man reported hearing three gunshots in the vicinity of Edgerton School. Others called believing the sound had come from fireworks. Neither a shooter nor a fireworks lighter were found.

A boy on Lambert Court was not so lucky. Police counseled him after he was caught lighting fireworks outside an open garage door.

Instead of fireworks, three teens tried to ignite a big-screen TV behind an apartment complex on North Meridian. At the same location, a woman called to complain that her adult neighbors keep sending their child over to ring her doorbell.

Someone swiped a pair of soft brown leather saddle bags off a motorcycle parked at Immanuel Lutheran Home.

A man called police after his friend neglected to return the truck he'd borrowed. On Third Avenue East, a 1995 silver Dodge Stratus was stolen.

A woman asked an officer to come to her home on Eighth Avenue West after a loud car pulled into her driveway in the middle of the night and didn't leave. Police arrested the driver for obstructing a peace officer and driving while suspended.

A group at Kalispell Junior High School claiming to be a division of The Hoop Group really isn't, a woman warned police. She'd called the organization and was told there were no camps in Kalispell this summer.

During a traffic stop, two men were arrested for possession of dangerous drugs. The driver was also charged with speeding.
