Two people injured

Two people were injured after they hit a deer on a motorcycle at the Beaver Lake turnoff on U.S. 93. ALERT helicopter took them to the hospital.

Whitefish ambulance took one person to the hospital after an accident on Whitefish Stage Road left one person unconscious but still breathing. Animal control was also called in to check on an older dog hanging around; no one knew whether it had been involved in the accident.

Kalispell Fire Department ambulance took someone to the hospital following an accident near Wal-Mart on U.S. 2.

Columbia Falls Fire Department went to Tamarack Lane after a car was struck by an oncoming vehicle while turning into a driveway. The driver who was hit refused medical attention. The other driver drove away.

They were pretty certain they'd stomped the small fire out, but a group of people wanted Marion Fire Department to check just in case.

South Kalispell Fire Department responded to a report of a fire burning in an Anderson Lane yard, only to discover it was a campfire.
