Robert B. 'Bob' Evans, 79

Robert B. "Bob" Evans, 79, passed peacefully in his sleep July 10, 2006.

Bob married Irene Pearce in 1941 and raised six children.

He moved to Kalispell in 1968, after retiring from the Army as a lieutenant colonel. He served in three wars and was highly decorated.

Locally, he was known for his integrity and reliability.

He is survived by Irene Pearce in Libby; five children; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place.

Memorial services will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Mountain Villa Apartments clubhouse.
