Flathead County Sheriff's Office took a report of a big Angus bull roaming loose

on Somerset Drive. It was later reported on someone's porch on Cardiff, where it did some damage before being sent home.

A driver complained of a silver BMW with California license plates that passed in the turn lane on Meridian Road. The owner was cited later for parking in a handicap space.

Near Olney, a parent complained that his son keeps breaking into his bedroom and using his computer. A 25-year-old son didn't want to leave a home on Park Lane Drive, but did, reluctantly.

On Mission Way South, a resident complained of a family that constantly uses their yard for a restroom.

A whole raft of rescuers was called Monday afternoon for a man who was floating on the Flathead River without a life jacket and seemed to be intoxicated. The man did not want to be rescued and eventually got out of the water. A friend gave him a ride home.

Someone beat up a door and threw dirt at it on Klondike Loop.

Problems with an ex-wife prompted a call from Conrad Drive. A man was arrested at a disturbance on Shady Lane. Someone called 911 from Ridgewood Drive and hung up, but the problems there were all verbal. Other disturbances were reported on Circle Drive (twice), on Four Mile Drive, on Peaceful Drive, and on West Reserve Drive where a couple kept up an argument and door-slamming for two hours. Threats were reported in Martin City.

Someone dug up the highway cross that indicated where someone died on U.S. 2 east and moved it down the road.

Law-enforcement was summoned for the theft of a baseball cap at Majestic Valley Arena.

A deputy had to tell someone that it's not safe to drive in the river at Kiwanis Park where children were playing. A 40-year-old man in a backpack and shorts, with a 12-pack of beer and headphones caused a disturbance at Foy's Lake. Friends came to get him.

The magic of reporting missing recreationists worked twice. As one person was reporting an overdue hiker at 22:30 p.m. Sunday, he pulled up into the driveway. Later, someone was worried about a woman who hadn't returned from rafting the South Fork of the Flathead River. Within minutes, the woman called to say she was late, but fine.

Emergency services were called for a 14- or 15-year-old girl who went to the hospital from East Evergreen Drive with alcohol poisoning.

A man who was too intoxicated to be walking on Montana 35 at 2:40 a.m. Monday got a ride to jail.

On Mill Street in Bigfork, a woman was cooking at 4 a.m. when someone came by and vandalized windows.

Bad-dog reports came from Pleasant View Drive where complaints about barking have a long history, from Hungry Horse where a chorus of dogs barked, from Farm Road where a dog killed geese, on McCaffery Road where someone was bitten, and at Oxford Circle where a stray dog attacked a pet.

A building at Bailey Lake was burglarized. A rock was thrown through a windshield on U.S. 2 East. Tires were slashed near Columbia Falls.

A man reported his girlfriend missing from LaSalle RV Park.

On the north side of the Ferndale bridge, one man was sleeping or passed out on the ground and another was in a lawn chair. A witness reported vodka bottles strewn about. A man found lying on the side of the road near the entrance to Glacier Park agreed to go sleep it off in the woods, somewhere less visible.

An air conditioner was stolen at Greg's Home.
