A mid-summer night's scream was reported to Kalispell police overnight.

Someone from Fifth Avenue West called to say a man there was "freaking out." A dispatcher heard a scream and the phone went dead. The matter is under investigation.

A man was arrested for DUI on U.S. 93 and Conway Drive.

A pack of boys reportedly harassed younger children at Woodland Park and tried to get cigarette lighters out of vehicles. They were counseled by an officer, who also told their parents what they had been up to.

On Charlotte Avenue, a woman was trying to turn right into her driveway when another woman tried to pass her on the right and hit her vehicle, and then started yelling and screaming. More road rage was reported on U.S. 93.

There was a report that people on Sixth Avenue West strangled and kicked a dog. They told an officer they had only swatted it. The dog appeared to be uninjured.

On Third Avenue East, some men with painted faces and vulgar language were told to hold down the noise after a complaint. So were the people in a van in the alley behind Eighth Avenue West.

A fight at Walgreen's resulted in a youth being arrested on an alcohol charge.

At Cattlemen's bar, about 10 people reportedly participated in a fight, but no one wanted to pursue charges.

It wasn't immediately known what was taken, if anything, in a burglary to the music room at the high school.

People living in a truck and trailer on Fifth Street West were told to move along after reportedly staying there for eight days.

An officer told a man what his sisters have been telling him - he's not welcome at their place.

The animal warden counseled a woman who left her dog in a dangerously hot black car with the windows cracked outside of Herberger's.

That belligerent guy at Sawbuck's isn't welcome there anymore.
