Kalispell police were alerted about a man on a go-cart
who was in traffic on Seventh Avenue West with a child on the front of the cart.
A man who wouldn't give up trying to cash a check, trying at several different Smith's checkstands, got a free ride to the police department. He was cited for disorderly conduct and released.
Another man was checked into jail after trying yet again to get medication at the emergency room at Kalispell Regional Medical Center. He had tried multiple times under different names but the alert staff wasn't fooled. It turned out he had an outstanding warrant from Columbia Falls.

A driver reported a suspicious circumstance after noting a bathtub in the middle of the road on Salish Court. The owner eventually noticed the lost cargo and returned for the tub.
Police investigated at 2:30 a.m. a report of two women reeking of alcohol and with slurred speech near the valet shack at the emergency room at Kalispell Regional Medical Center. It turned out a sober, designated driver was piloting the women.
Two men and a woman were seen early Wednesday removing items from the donation bin at Flathead Industries and destroying things that apparently didn't appeal to them. They took off in a van with a broken sliding door window and the back door open.
An alarmed motorist called police Wednesday evening when something slammed into his vehicle on Main Street. He noted several teenage boys with golf clubs at the scene. Upon investigation, an officer discovered the young men were practicing their golf swings with tennis balls in Depot Park, not targeting vehicles.
