Whitefish police and Whitefish Fire Department

responded to a report of a flipped canoe of Whitefish Lake Shore. The two kids in the water were rescued by a kayaker.

Police received a report of transients at Marcus Foods. They later learned one of the transients was a 16-year-old runaway from Billings. The girl was arrested.

Three others, an 18-year-old boy from Helena, an 18-year-old boy from Great Falls and a 17-year-old boy from Oregon, were cited and released for criminal trespass.

A drunken man passed out at the Pin and Cue. He was allowed to finish his meal before leaving.

Liquor was stolen from a garage on Tenth Street.

Police cited a 25-year-old man for open container.

Two bikes were stolen from a storage unit on Skyles Place.
