Ronald Paul Hawkins, 48

Ronald Paul Hawkins left this world June 10, 2006. His family says there is an immeasurable void in the world but believes he now is flying high, fast and free on his silvery wings.

Ron lived his 48 years not being defined by others or relating to limitations. From his University of California-Berkeley degree, to his sense of style, to his brand of humor, to his taste in the finer things, Ron was full of life and love.

'He personified faith, hope, honor, trust, commitment and love. All that had the privilege of really knowing Ron are blessed for it.'

As a delightful brother, loving son, doting uncle and earnest friend, he will be intensely missed, and they will cherish their beautiful memories of him.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Johnson Mortuary. A service will be at 1 p.m. at Johnson Mortuary
