Used sleeping bag for sale?

| June 24, 2006 1:00 AM

Someone called the Flathead County Sheriff's Office to report a person lying in the middle of U.S. 2 in a gray sleeping bag or thick blanket.

When a vehicle ran over the bag, the caller learned there was no one in it. He threw it into the ditch for deputies to find. They decided it had probably fallen out of the back of a vehicle.

After making several appearances around town - and in Saturday's roundup - a man in a primer-gray Camaro ended up parked on someone's property just past Batavia. Deputies asked him to move along.

When she stepped out of her car on West Reserve Drive, a woman was hit in the face by an unknown blonde girl.

A man reportedly punched his ex-girlfriend's current boyfriend repeatedly. The boyfriend believed his nose was broken, and said the man had hit him for no apparent reason.

A woman found her car window broken when she got off work Friday night.

Someone complained of a jet boat on Flathead Lake that was louder than a plane.
