The Flathead County Sheriff's Office took reports of a moose hit by a vehicle on Many Lakes Drive
and a bear hit by a vehicle on U.S. 93 near Whitefish.
A man riding a bike Thursday night on Badrock Drive appeared to be intoxicated.
A woman who jumped out of a moving vehicle at 12:30 a.m. Thursday at Montana Village was found and taken to the hospital.
A man who was kicked out of Lucky Logger casino was not welcome either at Town Pump. An officer gave him a ride to a residence. He resurfaced the next day at Woodland Park pool and caused another complaint.
Accidents abounded Wednesday night and Thursday. A man on a bike crashed in front of a vehicle at 2 a.m. on U.S. 2 in Evergreen. A South Kalispell Fire Department volunteer was on the scene. Kalispell and Evergreen fire departments and Highway Patrol responded and the man went to the hospital with a possibly broken leg. There was also a report of a man bleeding from a motorcycle accident Wednesday on River Road in Evergreen; he refused medical attention.
Another accident happened at 6:30 a.m. on West Reserve Drive. The same agencies responded to find two people hurt; one went to the hospital with minor injuries.
A head-on crash was reported at Hungry Horse Reservoir. At least one person went to the hospital. Someone drove through a ditch and into a field on Whitefish Stage Road Wednesday night. The driver was arrested after trying to get out of the ditch, dragging cables and wire behind him.
It was Thursday morning when a crash at Berne Park on U.S. 2 sent someone to the hospital. The Canyon Quick Response Unit and Hungry Horse and Martin City fire departments responded.
There were choruses of "Get in the car" and "Get in the house" before a fighting couple on Eastman Drive decided to split up for the night.
A red 1993 Cadillac was reported stolen on Ninth Street West. Gas was stolen in Martin City. Tools were taken from a truck in Hungry Horse. A Jet Ski trailer was reported stolen at Bitterroot Lake. A theft from a garage was reported on Sandy Hill Lane
An angry ex-employee caused a disturbance near Columbia Falls. A woman keeps showing up at Lake View Care Center where she wanders the grounds and isn't all that welcome. A man caused problems at Angel Point Road and got a ride in a patrol car to another location. An intoxicated, overly happy camper caused a disturbance at Ashley Lake campground.
On Trap Road, there was complaint of a man shooting off his cannon again. It turned out to be a different kind of explosion.
A woman called the Kalispell Police Department all day Wednesday and then switched her focus to the Sheriff's Office. She said she didn't believe they were police because she thought she heard children in the background.
A canoe was found stuck under the old bridge in Bigfork. No one was hurt.
On Cynthia Drive, there lives a person who keeps yelling at neighbor kids just for being kids, by one account. The volume of music was lowered at a deputy's suggestion and peace was restored to the neighborhood. More conflict was reported on Mud Lake Road.
A rape report is under investigation.
