Lawrence 'Larry' B. Reeder Jr., 66
Lawrence "Larry" B. Reeder Jr., of Lakeside, was a Messianic Jewish believer and was "welcomed into his father's house" Sunday, Feb. 26, 2006.
He was born July 23, 1939, in Long Beach, Calif., to Lawrence Sr., and Juanita Walker Reeder.
Larry spent most of his early years in Kansas City and Lee's Summit, Mo. When he was a young teenager, his family moved back to his birthplace, Long Beach.
Larry married Arlene Garr and had six children. He also has two children from previous marriages.
Preceding him in death were his parents; 17-month old son, Michael; and sisters, Shirley Reeder and Susan Wink.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Lorri, of Lakeside; four sons, Lawrence III and wife, Bonnie, of Redlands, Calif., Terry of Long Beach, Garry and fiancee, Dina, of Downey, Calif., and stepson, Jack Schwulst of Spokane; four daughters, Penny Suzette, Charisse and husband, Frankie, and Kerrilyn Louise, all of Redlands, and Sarah Nicole; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Lynn, and wife, Jackie, of Kalispell; five nephews; four nieces; and other relatives.
Buffalo Hill Funeral Home and Crematory assisted Larry's family with his final wishes.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Mar. 3, at Larry and Lorri's home, 155 Lakeview Lane (Tamarack Woods), in Lakeside. The service will be officiated by his son, Lawrence B. Reeder III.
