Flathead County Sheriff's Office

| March 4, 2006 1:00 AM

Flathead County Sheriff's Office assisted Montana Highway Patrol at about 1 a.m. Friday, when a trooper chased a motorcyclist from Kiwanis Park to Conrad Drive. The man ditched the motorcycle and fled on foot; authorities discovered the bike was reported stolen. It was returned to its owner and officers have a good idea who the Evel Knievel wannabe is.

A man who made threats also made himself unwelcome on South Cedar Drive. A son outwore his welcome on Somers Avenue. On Old Tally Lake Road, a man wouldn't leave a house and threw things around inside.

A search began for a 9-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy who didn't board a school bus as they were supposed to Thursday afternoon. They were later found in their elementary school, unaware that they had been locked in.

An assault was reported on Lodgepole. Both a man and a woman were arrested after a domestic disturbance was reported on Church Drive.

A woman was arrested after a report of a vehicle driving on the wrong side of the road on U.S. 93 near Somers. A man driving in the same area a short time later met with the same fate. Both were charged with DUI.

No one knows why a woman keeps looking in windows and taking pictures at a home on Big Mountain.
