The police received calls two hours later about shots somewhere along 2nd Avenue East. Reports varied, but somewhere between five and seven shots were fired.

Kalispell police received a report Friday afternoon that someone had run into a man's wooden driveway and done "quite a bit of damage."

A 33-year-old woman was arrested for DUI and per se after she was in an accident on U.S. 2 West by McDonald's.

Friday night, a man reported he had just been cut off by a silver Z71 Tahoe south of Scarff Auto.

He said a man had gotten out of the vehicle and approached his car, pulled a gun and told him he'd better watch how fast he was driving. The man then got back in his car and headed south on U.S. 93.

He didn't present a badge or identify himself as a law enforcement officer, the reporting man said.

At about the same time, a woman called the police to report she'd just seen a man pull a black pistol-style handgun on the driver of a white car. An SUV was parked in front of the car, she said, south of Scarff Auto.

A woman reported her ex-boyfriend was throwing all of her belongings out of a car. The car belonged to the man, she said, but he had lent it to her last fall.

A 43-year-old man was arrested early Saturday morning at the Blue and White Motel for partner/family member assault. His son called police, saying the man had assaulted his wife in Room 254.

A 21-year-old man was arrested for possession of dangerous drugs.
