A two-vehicle collision

| March 6, 2006 1:00 AM

at southern Kalispell's Four Corners intersection sent at least four people to Kalispell Regional Medical Center late Sunday afternoon.

All of the injured were conscious and alert.

A pickup with two people in it ran the Four Corners stoplight while heading north on U.S. 93, Kalispell police said. It broadsided another pickup - with four people in it, including one pregnant woman - heading west through the intersection. The collision spun the northbound pickup 180 degrees and knocked the westbound pickup into the field northwest of the intersection. A car was caught in a chain reaction with the pickups and suffered minor damage.

The northbound pickup's front was crunched. The driver's side of the westbound pickup was seriously bashed in. The two people on the driver's side of the westbound pickup were not obviously bleeding. The number of injured was not available late Sunday afternoon, but the Kalispell and Big Fork fire departments appeared to transport at least four, if not more, people.
