Flathead County sheriff's deputies
separated the contentious bunch at a Coram house. It involved four youths, ranging in ages from 8 months to 17 years, playing with the phone, a male yelling and a female screaming, but no weapons in the house. Deputies determined it was only verbal.
A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of family member assault for hitting his mother early Tuesday. His sister reported the assault on Conn Road, then left with their mom and eventually met with deputies.
