Elizabeth Lorang 'Bette' Jones, 69

A longtime resident of Kalispell in her youth, Bette Jones died March 7, 2006, in Edmonds, Wash.

Children, Julie, Susan and Gary; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren survive her.

Her fond memories of Kalispell include winters skating on the river, camping trips with friends in Glacier Park and presiding as Flathead County High School senior class president in 1939.

She met and married her husband of 60 years, Charles E. Jones, in Kalispell.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Beck's Funeral Home, 405 Fifth Ave. S., Edmonds, WA 98020 (425-771-1234).

Vigil will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 12, at the funeral home. Celebratory Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 13, at Holy Rosary Church.
