Ronald Rodger Thorne, 71

Ronald Rodger Thorne, 71, 'went to his final resting place' Monday, March 13, 2006, at his home in Lakeside.

He was born June 23, 1934, in Minnesota to Gustave and Sarah (McClure) Thorne.

He married Patricia Veigel on Dec. 22, 1969. Together they had eight children.

He will be dearly missed as a husband, father, grandfather and brother.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Thorne, of Lakeside; three sons, Charles Thorne and wife, Nora, of Kalispell, James Thorne and wife, Terry, of Kalispell, and Chad Thorne of Lakeside; five daughters, Tammy Kenkel and husband, Richard, of Somers, Tonya Jaquette and husband, Charles, of Arizona, LaRhonda Woodall of North Carolina, and Sharon Hughes and husband, Jim, of North Carolina, and Candy Noonan and husband, Jim, of St. Regis; 19 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one brother, James Thorne, of Martin City.

Private graveside services will be held for Ronald.
