Most Flathead County voters will vote at different polling places this year.

Polling places change this year for most voters

Election administrator Paula Robinson moved polling places to comply with federal law under the Help America Vote Act, that requires that all facilities be handicap-accessible by this year.

She consolidated 22 polling places into eight and moved 24 to new locations.

There are now 30 polling place in Flathead County, including the courthouse, compared to 43 in 2004.
