Noted portrait artist gives demonstration

Diana Neville Knowles will give a free demonstration in the art of classic portraiture at Northland Hobbies in Kalispell on March 31 at 11 a.m.

She will also offer a workshop on head study in pure pigment pastel crayon on four consecutive Thursdays beginning April 6 at Northland Hobbies. Beginners are welcome.

Neville has completed and sold over 20,000 portraits, including U.S. presidents, celebrities such as Frank Sinatra, Debbie Reynolds, Tom Jones and Charlton Heston, and some of the country's most notable business executives.

Neville's portraits are in the Smithsonian Institute, Senate houses, board rooms, and homes throughout the world.

Northland Hobbies is located at 1325 U.S. 2 W. in Ashley Square.
