Two arrested on felony drug charges

Two people were arrested on felony drug charges Thursday night by the Northwest Drug Task Force.

Task force officers assisted Montana Adult Probation and Parole officers in a search at 2243 U.S. 2 East.

Inside the home were three-quarters of an ounce of crystal methamphetamine, an ounce of marijuana, 12 Ecstasy tablets, $1,775 in cash, and drug paraphernalia, according to drug team leader Kevin Burns.

Lonnie Joe Staber, 42, and Janie Marie Daniels, 25, were arrested on suspicion of probation violation and possession of drugs with intent to distribute.

More arrests are expected, Burns said.
